DESCRIPTION:The Energy Storage Systems Safety & Reliability Forum 2020\, being held at PNNL’s Discovery Hall on March 4-5\, 2020\, is sponsored by the DOE’s Office of Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability Energy Storage Program. The forum will focus on the current state of energy storage safety and reliability and will help identify additional R&D efforts that further advance the current DOE roadmap for energy storage. The forum will also identify the challenges\, opportunities\, and potential solutions for improving energy storage systems.  Presentations from safety and reliability experts\, energy storage and power electronic providers\, utilities\, integrators\, testing and certification labs\, and academia will be given to help frame the discussion. \nMarc Chupka will speak to ESA’s Corporate Responsibility Initiative on the afternoon of March 4\, 2020.
