ESA Statement on Granholm Nomination to Department of Energy Secretary
“We welcome President-elect Joe Biden’s decision to nominate Governor Jennifer Granholm to lead the U.S. Department of Energy,” said U.S. Energy Storage Association CEO Kelly Speakes-Backman. “Under Governor Granholm’s leadership we expect the DOE will continue furthering America’s leadership and innovation in energy storage through initiatives like the Energy Storage Grand Challenge and supporting jobs and investment in the domestic supply chain.
