ESA engages in proceedings at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and in stakeholder processes of the various regional transmission organizations (RTOs) and independent system operators (ISOs) to open wholesale electricity markets to energy storage and promote market designs that value flexibility. ESA seeks to enable the participation of storage at all levels of interconnection and for all services.
