ESA CEO Kelly Speakes-Backman Testifies to House Science, Space, & Technology Committee on Storage in Grid Modernization
At a hearing of the Energy Subcommittee of the House of Representatives Science, Space, & Technology Committee today, ESA CEO Kelly Speakes-Backman testified in support of including energy storage in forthcoming legislation focused on grid modernization. Specifically, the testimony sought modifications of the draft legislation under discussion, including strong support for provisions of the Promoting Grid Storage Act, efforts to assign a dollar value to resilience, and direction to FERC on hybrid resources.
