ESA Calls for New Storage Programs in Connecticut Regulatory Filing
ESA will file comments today in response to the Connecticut’s Public Utilities Regulatory Authority’s notice for Solutions Days and stakeholder comments in the newly opened docket 17-12-03RE03 Investigation into Distribution System Planning of the Electric Distribution Companies – Electric Storage. In our comments, ESA outlines initial recommendations of utility programs to support behind-the-meter energy storage such as Bring Your Own Device and the Daily Dispatch peak demand reduction program. ESA also recommends reforming procurement requirements for non-wires alternatives and provides a framework to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of these solutions.
