ESA Statement on Virginia State Corporation Commission’s Action
“The Virginia State Corporation Commission has taken an important step toward advancing the state’s clean energy future by setting forth rules to guide the nation’s largest state procurement target of energy storage,” said U.S. Energy Storage Association CEO Kelly Speakes-Backman. “We are pleased to see the inclusion of several of our recommendations, which will set the foundation for a healthy competitive landscape and advance Virginia’s storage industry. ESA looks forward to continuing our work with members, stakeholders and policy makers to ensure that the Commonwealth meets and exceeds the promise of Virginia’s energy storage targets and regulations.”
