California Energy Commission (CEC) staff will conduct a series of remote-access workshops to discuss the Electric Program Investment Charge 2021-2025 Investment Plan (EPIC 4 Investment Plan) and solicit public input on specific research topics to inform the plan. While these are staff workshops, Commissioners may attend and participate, but no votes will be taken.

This workshop will explore technology advancements that can make storage more cost competitive and market ready. This will include sessions on both short-duration (<4 hour) storage as well as medium- to long-duration and seasonal storage. Learn more here.
